Routier European Transport will operate the Oradea intermodal terminal for the next 10 years
Routier European Transport SA (RET), a transport company with 100% Romanian capital, won the tender for the operation of the Oradea intermodal terminal, together with Cabooter Intermodal BV, the contract running for a period of 10 years, with the possibility of extension.
For the operation of the terminal during this period, the two companies will pay the local authorities a rent of 301,000 euros per year, plus VAT, according to a statement.
In addition, the company also committed to an investment of 2.5 million euros, which will be allocated for the modernization of the infrastructure, the purchase of specialized equipment (reach-stackers), security and access systems, a charging station for electric trucks and the implementation of solutions to ensure an efficient and ecological operation of the Oradea terminal.
